Game of Thrones x Kyrö: Whisky of Blood
Bold in character and rooted in legacy, Whisky of Blood captures the enduring spirit of House Targaryen through the unmistakable character of Finnish rye.

Made from 100% malted rye and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and French oak casks, this elegant expression showcases a balanced and approachable side of whisky made from rye. Bright cereals, apple and apricot are complemented by notes of tonka bean, chestnut and beeswax on the nose. The palate brings together fruit sweetness, toasted cereals and crème brûlée, with gentle rye spice and roasted chestnut.

Refined yet resilient, Whisky of Blood is a whisky for those who understand that true strength is not always announced with fire—it is often carried in legacy, patience and resolve.

Barley

On the palate, it is richer and rounder than I expected: dried cherries, redcurrant, a lick of chocolate, some oak and that unmistakable rye prickle that keeps everything lively. There is a pleasing savoury note too, a little herbal and foresty, which stops it from becoming too sweet.
